As we wrap up the summer and move into a new season, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what has been an incredibly busy — and deeply rewarding — Spring and Summer for SEAHEC. From expanding our community partnerships and launching new health initiatives to celebrating the success of our first-ever Senior Con and Back-to-School event in Duncan, these past months have been filled with milestones that embody our mission: advancing health equity through advocacy, education, and action.
Across southern Arizona and along the border, our team and partners have worked hand in hand to strengthen community health programs, support our youth and elders, and continue building local capacity through the power of collaboration. Each project, event, and partnership reminds us that sustainable change happens when communities lead the way — and SEAHEC is proud to stand alongside them every step of the journey.
This year also marks a major milestone for SEAHEC — our 40th Anniversary. Over the next year, we’ll be celebrating four decades of service, growth, and partnership by highlighting the people, projects, and communities that have made SEAHEC’s work possible. We’re excited to honor our shared history while continuing to shape a healthier, more connected future for southeast Arizona.
