Paying Our Respects for the Loss of Our Friend Efrain Gutierrez, 1981 – 2024

On August 17, 2024, we lost our dear friend and colleague Efrain Gutierrez, a farmworker and Community Health Worker from Winchester Heights, Cochise County, following a tragic accident. This loss is deeply felt within the southeast Arizona Community Health workforce. SEAHEC attended his memorial service, where we paid tribute to his dedication, compassion, and solidarity with his community. His legacy will live on in the lives he touched.
