I am currently a senior at the University of Arizona. I intend to graduate in May 2019 with a B.S. in Public Health with an emphasis on Global Health. I had chosen to study public health because I thought that it best aligned with my interests. I knew that I wanted to enter the health care field, but I had no idea that it would take me on this journey. I am so grateful for the experiences that I have had, the people that I’ve met, and the niche that I have found within Public Health.
That being said, I hope to one day combine my love for Public Health with a medical degree so that I can continue to work with underserved populations. The work that I have been able to do with SEAHEC has exposed me to a group of very passionate people that are all working towards improving health in a multitude of different ways. I am constantly being inspired by the people that I interact with and it has reinvigorated my drive to continue to work hard towards my dreams.
