In June 2013, a new cadre of Healthy Farms Graduates, Cruz Aisparo, Gladys Lara, and Josefina Salazar joined the Healthy Farms community health worker team of 12 who completed their training in April.
On June 4th, the new graduates celebrated with SEAHEC Executive Director Gail Emrick, and Healthy Farms Program Coordinator Hannah Hafter, in their home in Winchester Heights on June 4th. The community health worker team will provide health and workplace safety education for their co-workers at farm sites in Cochise County.  A recent grant from the Cochise Community Foundation will help to support upcoming workshops next fall and spring.
