Daniela Castillo Castro 2020 SEAHEC Intern

"It is a great satisfaction to participate in the Ventanilla de Salud program. Providing health resources is one of the pillars of my profession (nursing). I am very grateful to be able to do it in this program in a country different from mine. I loved being able to travel to communities that I did not know, living with people from different cultures and being able to contribute to that important part of life that is health."

Katherine Kanter SEAHEC Intern 2019

I was honored to be invited to intern with SEAHEC because of my interest in boarder health and immigration policy. I helped out with communications through creating letters, a brochure, photographs and this article. The time that Gail offered me, as a mentor, has inspired me to examine how my career path could help solve the challenges facing our communities. I am so thankful to have had hands-on experiences with leaders addressing these issues and staff dedicated to the mission of SEAHEC.
